Treadwerks: Client Testimonials - 4 Peaks Music Festival
It’s one thing to have a trail emerge from years of foot traffic and quite another to have a trail built in a matter of days. When you need a trail built there’s no better team than the folks at Treadwerks.
The scope of our project was to create a traffic flow for the festival goers from the music venue to the campground on a 20-acre ranch in Tumalo, Oregon. Kent and Eric quickly took the initiative and laid out a meandering path, which included switchbacks and some great vistas of the venue and surrounding landscapes. Within a matter of days we had a trail that could have been there for years: safe, relaxing and enjoyable.

4 Peaks Presents LLCSEE PROJECT>Treadwerks: Client Testimonials - Dale Clark, landowner Treadwerks has expanded the fledgling trail system on my property near Tumalo to over three miles. Keeping my goals in mind, Kent worked closely with me to map out a series of loops that take advantage of the diversity of the terrain and variety of habitats. A major goal was to protect the relatively undisturbed vegetation by creating trails that people would actually use. Through careful siting, that was accomplished. Even the dogs use them. Treadwerks was very careful during construction to make as little impact as possible, often following deer trails. They protected and carefully transplanted native grasses. Always conscious of slopes and drainage, they developed comfortable grades and turns for walking and biking and kept trails easily accessible for all ages.
Kent has an uncanny sense for routing a trail just close enough to special rocks and trees for the user to discover the treasures along the way. And the twists and turns frame views and vistas in the distance. He did some excellent work with rocks, buttressing a trail on a steeper slope and creating a favorite sitting area at the same time. And he has a sense of humor in the way he has stacked rocks into cairns along the way.
He has built several beautiful and functional bridges over the irrigation ditch, and is in the process of researching and getting permits for a culvert he will be installing soon.
The trails have greatly enhanced the enjoyment of my land. Their work has exceeded my greatest expectations.
Sincerely,
Dale Clark
